There is a new Laser Speed gun in Town. It is known as the LI-XR or the TraffiPatrol XR. There are approximately 40 of these deployed through various traffic departments across the country including the Johannesburg Metro.
As taken from the manufacturers website : "Instead of evaluating the propagation time of individual pulses as was hitherto usually the case, the TraffiPatrol XR uses the accumulation process. Pulses are emitted with a markedly higher frequency in this case and subsequently analysed"
This makes it impossible for ALL Laser Countermeasure devices to detect unless you have the latest to Blinder M25/M45 or the Laser Interceptor
Customers who are still purchasing other brands of "over priced parking sensors/jammers" are in for a surprise as their units will not work against this gun >:-(
